Project Description

A house becomes a home when we have a sense of belonging till then it is just brick and mortar. This requires a caring community with easy access to everything you require for your day to day needs.
How can we ensure we are not just creating houses but real homes? How do we ensure basic facilities are available when housing is planned by taking into account the targeted population of a suburb and the available facilities in a suburb?
Our project strives to work on helping achieve this balance.

Enabling Better Community Housing and Infrastructure Planning

How might we use multiple public datasets, including building permits, to guide communities in planning for housing and services in their local communities— from understanding areas of housing stress to anticipating the impact of future developments on community access, services, and social connection?
