Project Description

We have developed an AI model to help the general public of the Northern Territory stay aware of UV risks. For the challenge “Using AI to Help Australians Navigate Government Services,” we trained a Random Forest model using government data. The dataset includes the past five years of UV radiation index records for the Northern Territory. Based on this training, when a user provides a time and date, the model predicts the UV risk level. This will greatly support people in Darwin by raising awareness, encouraging precautions, and helping prevent skin cancer.

Data Story

We have worked on 5 years of dataset of Northern Territory. The data set contains of UV index of different time of different date. Our work was to focus on giving an alert to the general public as per their time and date to have precaution of UV ray. We have trained the government dataset of Northern Territory to give such alerts.
