Project Description

We are a team of 6 (Not all joined right now) and we are making an app that will show the user where services they may need are within a 20 minute radius of your mode of travel (the 20 minute ring) such as walking, E-bike, E-scooter, car or bus routes.

Description of Use The eletric charging ports for vechiles will allow us to show where the nearest one is if you are running low on power.

Description of Use Use this to show travel options within a 20 minute radius of your form of transport to travel to certain destinations faster than usual.

Description of Use It shows schools that we can display within the 20 minute ring of your mode of transport.

Description of Use It helps with safety and finding better and quicker routes to your destination. In our 20 MNP app people using it can quickly see anything that may affect them accessing services.

How might we use open data to understand and improve the ways people move, work, and access services — creating neighbourhoods that are more liveable, inclusive, and resilient?

#Accessible-communities

Eligibility: Open to all, but preference given to teams with a lead in VIC. At least one dataset from data.vic.gov.au must be used. Open data on transport networks, amenities, planning permits, green spaces, demographics, and mobility patterns is suggested but creativity in dataset usage and sourcing is strongly encouraged.
