Project Description

Our hack provides the social entrepreneur the tools to take their idea to concept, helping them with contextual data to understand demand, validate their ideas against market conditions, help connect them with the support and infrastructure they require and providing the quantitative and qualitative data to continually measure their outcomes.

Data Story

We explored and extracted data from NSW employment figures, NEIS program, NDIS demand demographics, youth detention figures in NSW, land use and business activities in Melbourne CBD and ATO small business benchmark to power the ML algorithm to measure a potential social impact start-up in 4 different aspects in a given local suburb. The aspects are its projected social impact, business competitiveness, potential success rate, typical revenue and demand demographics.
