Project Description

A simple flying game with a storyline and theme of exploring the Northern Territory.

My aim was for my game to be fun and engaging, so that players would learn about the Northern Territory (NT) without that feeling like a chore. After learning about the NT this way, players would be more interested in the NT and more likely to want to visit.

My idea could be expanded with better stories and characters.

To create the game, I repurposed an unfinished racing game I partially developed some time ago. That unfinished racing game is freely available on GitHub here: https://github.com/tomcdonnell/vector_racing_2.)

The character images are reused from my team's entry to GovHack 2022 (https://2022.hackerspace.govhack.org/projects/flood_frenzy).
