Project Description

As we expect a rapid growth of population in the greater Launceston community, we want to develop a website containing useful data. The data indicates locations of different places where family can visit, public facilities, and bike routes. And the information provided on the website can bring convenience to local residents. Hence, we believe that this will definitely help the community become better.

Data Story

Our webpages use various types of open data built by the Tasmanian government. It shows detailed information about playgrounds and bike routes within the greater Launceston area. On top of this, calendar is also appended for a better scheduling if people need to book facilities such as public seatings. There is also a data showing the points of booked seatings on different dates. Furthermore, photos of scenic spots also become a highlighted feature of our project work.
