Active Cities aims at encouraging people to exercise, socialise and to discover their local city. It provides the user with information regarding a variety of activity types, from going for a walk in a nearby park to exploring a local museum - catering for a variety of personal preferences.
Active Cities uses mutiple datasources including Bureau of Meteorology, Darwin City OpenData Parks and Playgrounds in order to provide a customized experience for the individual.
Description of Use Data used to isolate those playgrounds that have exercise equipment that might be used for training.
Description of Use Used to promote group/social areas for exercise.
Description of Use Provides larger form forecasts for town and metro area.
Description of Use Provides information relevant to weather forecasting.
Description of Use Provide information relevant to forecasts, current weather and Precis icons. (weather icons)
