GovHack - 20-22nd August 2021
GovHack is back in Auckland again this year at UoA's Unleash Space! In 46 hours, teams will come together to create a video pitch and hacked together prototype that tells the story of how government data can be reused to address challenges and make our communities better places.
No need to bring a team (although you can if you want), as Friday night will include ample opportunity to meet new friends, form teams, and plan your ideas. We're open to all skill levels and all sorts of interests, so bring your designer, business, and writing friends too!
Join us in the Unleash Space @ the University of Auckland for a great weekend of experimenting, collaborating, laughing and learning. Explore ways to improve civic democracy and use data-driven insights to unlock ways to improve the world. There are national and international prizes up for grabs!
